Operating under the trade name Oscar 7 Security (Malta) since 2001, John Sacco and provides close protection, training, investigations and security management.

Oscar 7 Security is composed of a multi-disciplinary team of professionals who have gained a high level of business and security knowledge and understanding both in Malta and abroad and seek to place their experience at the service of their clients.

The hands-on approach of its senior management allows it to focus on the requirements of its client to provide a customised solution with high service levels whilst maintaining the flexibility to adapt to contract changes rapidly, thus providing critical business continuity.

With a worldwide network in-house consultants and dedicated business partners, Oscar 7 Security and its associates are able to provide clients with access to law enforcement agencies, the military, emergency and rescue services and intelligence organisations.

John Sacco – Founder of Oscar 7 Security

John holds a post-graduate diploma in Security and Risk Management awarded by University of Leicester, U.K.  He has served with various departments within the Malta Police for thirteen years, gaining extensive experience in the S.A.G. (Special Assignments Group) carrying out internal security and protection of government officials. He also formed part of the S.C.U.B.A. (search, rescue and recovery) team that also doubled as a seaborne close protection unit during visits to Malta by VIPs such as Bush and Gorbachev and the His Holiness, the Pope. John later served in the Criminal Investigations Department, investigating and prosecuting serious crimes including armed robbery, drug and arms trafficking and homicide. He resigned at the rank of Detective Inspector in 2001 to set up Oscar 7 Security.

After attending training in the United Kingdom and the United Arab Emirates, John was certified as a close protection officer and security driving instructor. He went on to provide security training within various disciplines to the Dubai Police and other entities within several other countries including Kosovo, Croatia and the U.K.

John has also retained his connection with law enforcement agencies and is appointed as an investigations expert by the Maltese
Courts of Justice to investigate criminal offences, answering directly to Magistrates and Judges.
